The sexual assault services division focuses on investigation and education. In cases under police investigation, doctors conduct medical exams of all suspected sexual assault victims. Medical reports, which may include colposcopic photography and DNA analysis, are provided to the District Attorney's Office for prosecution of suspected offenders. The division also conducts special programs and presentations to educate the community on sexual assault and abuse topics.
